Practice Support

The practice support program aims to support GPs, practice staff and other health professionals working with general practice to improve the quality of care provided to patients. This is achieved through a variety of means including providing information and assistance on accreditation, Enhanced Primary Care and use of the MBS item numbers, PIP, systems management, immunisation, specialised health areas, business management services and resources.

Staff can tailor visits to meet the specific needs of practices as they arise. TGPN have established a practice nurse network and a practice manager network that meet every alternate month. Contact TGPN for further information.
