The Doctors — Townsville

The Doctors Townville, our brand new, modern medical centre, with all the facilities and equipment you could possibly ask for.

We are located on the corner of Sturt and Stokes Streets in the city.

We have 7 consulting rooms all of which are fully equipped with the best of everything, the rooms are large for consulting rooms it’s like your own little abode rather than a squeezy room. Not only do we have the best medical equipment we’ve made sure you have a computer to use — yes, everything is computerised. We are definitely up with the times.

What else do we have? Well, there is the QML Pathology collection rooms onsite, then there’s Molescanning, the Hearing Room, the Dive Medicals, the treatment room with our very own nurse. Oh, and don’t let me forget, a coffee shop. Our hours are 7am to 11pm, every single day of the year.

There is a an assortment of things we take on, general practice consulting, emergency medicines, employment and industrial examinations, both commercial and recreational diving examinations. We are equipped with Spirometry, Audiometry and Tympanometry, Operative Microscope, Electrocardiograph, Liquid Nitrogen, Hyfrecation, Nebulisers, Oxygen, Molescanner, acupuncture, and the treatment room is fully equipped.

We have several fully furnished units on The Strand with great views to accommodate our Doctors.

As well as our Doctors, we also have a large team of reception staff and our Practice Registered Nurse.

Susan McIndoe the Practice Manager runs the show so efficiently, you don’t have to lift a finger and I’m sure you’ll feel right at home the day you visit us.
